Doctoral candidates of Doctoral Programme Brain & Mind and other interested doctoral candidates and late-stage MSc students. Maximum number of participants: 20 (participants will be selected based on a motivation letter).
The aim is to widen the horizon and to discuss how the brain processes up to cognition might not solely be driven by just brain-internal factors and mechanisms.
19.-21.4. and 24.-25.4. 16-19 and an optional exam on a later agreed day.
Perspectives from the "outer rim": how skin, body organ-derived factors, gut microbial factors, and dietary metabolites influence brain development, plasticity and regeneration.
Credits: 2-4 (100% participation in lectures + Journal Club presentation = 2 cr, optional exam 2 cr)
