The course is optional for major and minor subject students in Germanic philology and Translation of German.
It is recommended that students complete History of German Literature (GGE231).
Students are introduced to the development of German literature in the 1900s.
Intermediate or advanced studies.
Introduction to the individual periods of literature in German in the 1900s, including key genres, authors and works.
It is recommended that the course be completed as a lecture course (in German with the final examination). Contains 28 hours of contact teaching and 52–107 hours of independent work (depending on the number of credits). In exceptional cases, a literature examination may be taken.

The final grade is determined on the basis of the final or literature examination.
