Kognitiotieteen perus- ja aineopinnot

Opiskelija tuntee kognitiotieteen ja lähialojen lähihistorian pääkohdittain, ja osaa eritellä keskeisten tutkimusten taustateorioita ja tutkimustuloksia, sekä asettaa ne historialliseen kontekstiinsa. Tavoitteena on oppia hahmottamaan eri tutkimustraditioiden ja metodologioiden tausta ja anti kognitiotieteen nykyteorioille.

Maisteriopintojen 1.-2. opiskeluvuosi

Kognitiotieteen lähihistoria 1950-luvulta nykypäivään. Kurssilla tutustutaan valikoituihin kognitiivisen psykologian, kognitiivisen neurotieteen, symbolisen mallintamisen ja neuroverkkomallintamisen, sekä kognition filosofian keskeisiin klassikkoartikkeleihin.
