Students of all faculties, students in the flexible study rights scheme (JOO).
This course is suitable for students who wish to improve their language skills obtained at school by developing different areas of language proficiency.
Starting level: CEFR A2 (pdf)
Intermediate French 2, or three years of school studies (6–8 courses in upper secondary school).
Intermediate French 3 and 4 use the same textbook and form a continuum.
After completing the course, students
• Can understand the gist of newspaper and magazine articles as well as other similar information in standard French
• Can describe past events and express their opinions, emotions and objectives both orally and in writing
• Will have expanded their grammatical competence and their vocabulary
The learners will gain further insight into grammar (including the past tenses, the subjunctive and the passive) and improve their listening comprehension, intonation and speech production.
Topics: the media and new forms of communication; social aspects, including work, accommodation and human relations in modern-day France.
Language use: describing past events, giving advice, interviewing people

The product is a card, that contains a code for digiversion and can be bought in a bookstore.

Based on the aspects mentioned under the course objectives. Continuous assessment, e.g., portfolio or project work, or a written final examination, depending on the group. Further details will be given at the beginning of the course.
