Students of all faculties, students in the flexible study rights scheme (JOO)
The course progresses rapidly, and the participants must be prepared to complete numerous home assignments and independently review the skills learned in class.
The course is suitable for refreshers for German for beginners.
No previous studies, or German for beginners 1 or equivalent skills
After completing the course, students
- Can manage in German in simple situations related to studies and everyday life
- Can understand slow, clear speech related to the course topics
- Can understand the core content of simple factual texts
- Can describe events in the past tense
The course topics include studies, family, hobbies and leisure time, accommodation, travel, shopping and descriptions of one’s home region.
The following will be discussed during the course: the present tense, the accusative and dative cases of nouns and pronouns, prepositions, the word order in the main and subordinate clause, comparison of adjectives, the simple past and the present perfect.
Pair and group work, numerous oral assignments, home essays.
Teacher-instructed course with 72 hours of contact teaching and 90 hours of independent work
Minimum course attendance: 75%
Campus D1 and Campus D2.
The material is available on the Moodle platform for printing.
Based on the aspects mentioned under the course objectives. Regular and active participation in classroom work. The teacher will provide further information about the oral and written course assignments.
