Students in all degree programmes, students with a JOO flexible study right, international students.
Initial level: CEFR A2 (pdf). Intermediate German 1 or corresponding studies.
After completing the course, students will be able to
- describe their interests
- ask for opinions and justify their views
- describe cultural attractions
- look for information on the Internet and draft a short presentation
- work in a group and analyse the process
Course themes include cultural attractions, living arrangements, questions of identity, and literature and music.
Material compiled by the teacher and produced by students.
Active participation in discussion exercises and small group work is required.
Studies completed at the Language Centre are graded on a scale of pass/fail. Regular classroom attendance and participation in group work is required.
The course includes 14 hours of contact teaching and 15 hours of independent work. The latter includes studying short texts, practising vocabulary and information-seeking, which will be utilised in contact meetings. The course uses audiovisual material and short literature extracts.
