After participating in the research seminars, doctoral candidates will
- be familiar with the wide subject areas covered by the whole AGFOREE doctoral programme
- be more familiar with the profile and research areas of the scientific community
- have developed interaction, communication and digital skills
- have created a wider network of researchers and contacts
To be completed at any time during doctoral studies. Seminars are held monthly.
Many of today’s challenges and research puzzles can only be tackled by collaborative efforts across multiple scientific disciplines, and the monthly AGFOREE research seminar is a reflection of this. In this seminar, AGFOREE doctoral candidates have the chance to present their findings and insights to a highly diverse and multidisciplinary audience. Presenters are asked to keep in mind this diversity - the audience will have to understand something that might be far out of their own discipline or comfort zone as well as to make sure that their passion and excitement for their research is shared with the audience. Each session is chaired by a different doctoral candidate.
1 talk + 1 chair = 1 ECTS, 12 attendances at any research seminars = 1 ECTS
