Master’s degree, visiting and exchange students in Environmental Engineering in Agriculture or related disciplines.

AGRI-111 Environmental Technology in Crop Production, theoretical bases or similar knowledge.

AGRI-112 can be taken in parallel with AGRI-111.

After the course, the student will be able to measure, evaluate, report and present some defined problems in environmental technology in crop production.

Period II, in uneven years.

Relevant continuous measurements, e.g. water discharge and quality. Laboratory measurements and determination of gaseous emissions from soil. Data analyses, reporting and presentation of measurements results following scientific principles.

Laboratory and field exercises, reporting, seminars. The course includes group and individual work.

Exercise instructions, scientific literature concerning the exercise topics.

Grading scale 0-5. The evaluation criteria are presented in the Moodle area of the course.

Exercises and instructions of exercises are in English. Reports can be made in Finnish, Swedish or English.
