Description

Master´s degree, visiting and exchange students in Plant Breeding, Plant Production Sciences, Plant Biology, Plant Biotechnology or in related disciplines.

Basic knowledge in plant breeding or related disciplines.

After completing the course the student will become acquainted with the importance of genetic variation and plant genetic resources, and will know how to assess and conserve genetic resources.

Period IV, in even years.

The nature of biological diversity, applications of ecological genetics to plant breeding, practical management of germplasm. Presentations by students.

Lectures, study diary and presentations.

Materials and literature will be provided during the course.
