The students are aware of the current trends in animal science and related disciplines, in practical domestic and international animal production and its specialized fields, including sports and hobby animals, in feed and breeding industry, in consumption of animal products, in social discussion and legislation about animal production with respect to nutrient losses and other environmental impact, animal welfare etc., in international, EU and domestic agriculture trade and policy making, in farmers’ organizations etc.
Period IV. Recommended during 1st year of MSc studies
Lectures; seminars given by own teachers and visitors; interviews of important industry partners, farmer/consumer/animal organizations and administration; reports, essays, blogs or vlogs, group work.
