After completion of the course, students will have a deeper knowledge of selected contemporary approaches in social and cultural anthropology.

Assessment practices and criteria
Scale 0-5. In evaluation all the assignments will be considered, self-evaluation will be recommended.
Relation to other study units
The course is part of optional studies in Master´s programme in Society and Change and it can also be included in Society and Change -study modules (25 cr or 35 credits).
Lecture course that includes written assignments and group discussions. Required presence in 75% of the classes, compensatory assignments for extra absences.
