To get familiar with various methods for analyzing energy metabolism from cells to organs to the whole organism. The course will end with a one-day symposium where students learn how to use and translate the results in different research areas.

Autumn term

The taught analysis methods include Oroboros, Seahorse, CLAMS calorimetry, and Echo-MRI.


1-2 ECTS (1 ECTS participation in a full-day minisymposium, 2 ECTS minisymposium + workshops)

'Metabolism from cells to organisms' symposium will be organized in Biomedicum on Tuesday 8th October 2019, and is open for all interested.
