Description

Pakollinen syventäviin opintoihin kuuluva jakso.

Eläinlääketieteen lisensiaatin koulutusohjelma vastaa jaksosta ja se ei ole tarjolla muiden koulutusohjelmien opiskelijoille.

Opiskelijan tulee olla osallistunut opintojaksojen Elintarvikehygienia (ELL-301) ja Ympäristöterveys (ELL-302), sekä Elintarvike- ja ympäristötoksikologia (ELL-303) opetukseen.

The studies acquaint the students with the legislation regulating the work of official
municipal veterinarians.

Students will

  • understand the scientific background of environmental health and food safety control
  • understand the principles of risk assessment
  • understand the meaning of a control plan for the environmental health care
  • know the legislation regulating the environmental health and be able to apply it to practical control
  • be able to perform an inspection in food premises and dairy farms
