Description

This course is offered only for philosophy majors.

Intermediate studies in philosophy

After completing the course, students will understand and be able to apply central research questions, concepts, scientific debate and philosophical argumentation in contemporary social philosophy. Students will also learn to discern to what extent and where social philosophy is associated, on the one hand, with ethics and, on the other hand, with questions of legal philosophy. Moreover, students gain familiarity of the theories so that they will be able to build arguments for and against a variety of positions. Properly selected, the specialisation studies will guide and help students in writing their Master's thesis.

Specialisation studies in the field of social philosophy, literature and/or special courses
