A2-level courses arranged by the Language Centre, or equivalent studies.
The course will expand and activate the students’ German vocabulary related to everyday life and social topics.
After completing the course, students
- Can use and independently apply the vocabulary they learn in oral and written communication
- Can express their opinion in conversations about everyday topics and social issues familiar to them.
The course topics include education, environment, politics, multiculturality and film. Certain topics may be given more emphasis, depending on the students' wishes.
The learners will discuss different types of authentic texts and work on the vocabulary used in them. These will also be used as the basis for written assignments. Classwork includes a great deal of oral language exercises completed in pairs and in small groups using the vocabulary learned during the course.
Teacher-instructed course with 26 hours of contact teaching and 26 hours of independent work.
Minimum course attendance: 80%.
