Attendees of "CLAW" will gain basics in different theoretical concepts of targeted lipidomics and also practical knowledge on various aspects of the lipid analysis using mass spectrometry (MS) including data processing and statistical analyses.
The course can be completed at any stage of studies. Organised in the autumn term 2017
Day 1 Lectures: Introduction to targeted lipidomics Experimental design and analytical systems, Analysis of lipids using MS. Practicals: FIMM Metabolomics Unit lab tour, Lipid extraction & analysis in biological samples, Running the extracted biological samples. Day 2 Lectures & Practicals: Targeted Lipidomics data processing. Day 3 Lectures & Practicals: statistical analyses. Instructor: Vidya Velagapudi, Ph.D, Docent.
