Description

The course is part of intermediate studies in the Bachelor's Programme in Politics, Media and Communication. The online exam is open to students of other study programmes.

Basic and compulsory intermediate studies in politics, media and communication

After completing the course, the student is familiar with key theoretical and methodoogical approaches to the study of global media and journalism. The student is able to critically assess the role and influence of media and journalism in international politics and conflicts.

Second period of the third year of studies

The course examines the role of media and journalism in international politics and conflicts. The course introduces key concepts, phenomena and study of global media and journalism, including the media's discursive and ideological power, the transnational public sphere, information warfare and the mediatization of international crises.
