Compulsory for students in Russian Studies Master´sprogramme. The course is available only for the students of Russian Studies Master´s programme.

Introduction to Russian Studies, Methods and Theories; Module Global Processes in Russia.

Optional studies depending on the topic of the Project Course I.

After finishing the project course I student is able to apply theoretical and substantial knowledge in practice. Student is able to use skills and knowledge acquired during the prior studies and operate his/her line of expertise in the multi-/interdisciplinary themes of the programme.

First year/period III and IV.

Project Course I can be individual work or pair work or group work. The aim of the project is to test how student has acquired the learning goals of the core studies and to help student to recognize his/her line of interest and enhance the construction of individual expertise. Project Course I consists of Project Course I 3 cr and Academic Writing I 2 cr.

List of required literature can be given in advance. Literature and other materials can be delivered in the course.

Individual and/or group work and/or contact teaching and/or presentation.

The assessment is based on the accomplishment of the project work, presentation of the project work and/or participation of the peer assessment. Grading of the course is pass/fail.
