Open course

After completing the course, students will have a good knowledge of the socio-political challenges caused by changes to the age structure of the population. Students will also be able to analyse ways to meet these challenges.

The course familiarises students with how Finnish social and public policy has reacted to an ageing population. Pension policies and their recent reforms will be examined.

Related literature for contact teaching will be separately announced.
