Team projects
After the day 1 there will be team projects by participants in small teams. The focus of the team projects is on finding practical solutions to challenging work and leadership situations of creative individuals and teams. The aim of the team projects is to practise the facilitation of expert work as leadership-agents and to deepen the understanding of the work of creative experts and teams and of leadership dynamics. The presentations of the team projects take place in the seminars on the days 2, 3 and 4.
The course is a practical hands-on workshop and includes introductions, exercises, workshops, discussions, a team project and seminars. As team projects, the teams will find practical solutions to challenging work and leadership situations.
To pass the course: team project and 80 % presence.
PASS/FAIL
Course teacher: Virpi Haavisto is a professional coach, leadership advancer and a specialist in facilitating creative expert work and leadership. She’s a certified coach by International Coaching Federation ICF and has graduated as M.Sc. from Helsinki University of Technology. She’s been a Visiting PhD Scholar at Stern School of Business at New York University (Management & Organizational Behavior) and a Visiting Researcher at Salford University, Great Britain. Her research interests are emotions in creative work and team leadership.
Anni Tonteri, senior advisor of YEB
