Description

By the end of the course, successful students will be able to describe the principal research orientations and concepts in environmental anthropology and use these appropriately in formulating the goals and methods of their own research.

Introduction to environmental anthropology, with a focus on political ecology and the anthropological study of humanly created environments and inter-species interactions.

Lecture course that includes written assignments and group discussions.
