Kuvaus

The course is meant for all students and researchers who are interested in learning more about modern imaging techniques and their applications.

The course is meant for all students and researchers who are interested in learning more about modern imaging techniques and their applications.

By the end of the course students will have basic knowledge to get started with their own imaging projects, and will be able to understand imaging data presented in published papers and seminars.

During doctoral and master’s studies.

The course consists of a seminar series in two parts. Part 1: The first part covers basics of light and electron microscopy techniques. Each seminar consists of two 45 minute lectures describing the technology and highlighting some applications. These lectures will be accompanied by workshop on image analysis. Attendance in 8 seminars will be required for credits (2 ETCS).
