Opintomaksu koostuu kahdesta osasta:

  • Avoimen yliopiston osuus
  • Opetuksen järjestävälle oppilaitokselle maksettava osuus

Opintoihin ilmoittaudutaan sekä opetusta järjestävään oppilaitokseen että Avoimeen yliopistoon.

Saat oppilaitokseltasi ohjeet Avoimeen yliopistoon ilmoittautumista varten. Ilmoittautuminen Avoimeen yliopistoon on sitova, ja se tulee tehdä viimeistään opintojen alkaessa.

After completing the course, students are expected to be able to: 1. Master the pronunciation of Chinese language 2. Master around 100 Chinese words related to daily life 3. Communicate with Chinese people on some basic topics like greeting words, nationalities, family members, date and time, etc. 4. Master around 100 Chinese characters 5. Learn some basic Chinese culture facts related to our texts, for example, Chinese peoples favorite number, Chinese family tree, etc.

The course topics include introductions, nationalities, family members, pets, date, times of day, etc. The following will be discussed during the course: the Chinese pronunciation system, basic Chinese sentence structures, possessives and personal pronouns, numerals, times of day, adjectives, word order in the main clause etc.

Listening, reading and writing exercises, oral exercises in pairs and in groups, as well as independent work (home assignments, essays, online assignments).

This is a pass/fail course. Evaluation is based on the aspects mentioned under the course objectives. Continuous evaluation: small review tests, regular and active participation in classroom work, completion of the home assignments.

This is a teacher-instructed course with 26 hours of contact teaching and 28 hours of independent work. Minimum course attendance: 75%

After completion of this course, students can continue with Elementary Chinese 2.
