The course is suitable for everyone interested on the theme.
No prior studies or knowledge is required.
After completing the course, you will be familiar with the central questions and focus areas of film and television studies well enough to form a personal opinion on the cultural and societal relevance of the discipline. You will also be able to place knowledge pertaining to film culture into the context of more general questions of art studies. Included in this are the first steps in learning to propose notions on phenomena in the field and their meaning on the basis of approaches you consider appropriate. You will also have a basic understanding of your personal orientation in terms of film culture.
