The course is available to students from other degree programmes.

General knowledge on polymer synthesis and characterization.

The course deals with the synthesis, properties and applications of functional polymers. Various polymer types, including supramolecular and nanostructured polymers, dendrimers and dendronized polymers, environmentally responsive polymers, polymers in pharmaceutics and cosmetics, will be discussed.

Recommended for Master degree students but also possible for later stages of studies

Final grade is based on the essay (30 %) and the final examination (70%).

Lecture course, attendance strongly recommended but not compulsory.
